Happy Easter!!! (a few days late)

Well, even though it's late, I wanted to share our Easter celebrations and some pictures. We had a great time. We went to an Easter egg hunt at one of the local parks and the girls were able to hunt for some eggs, along with tonz of other kids!!! Lorin was a little bit sad because she didn't find as many eggs as she was hoping for. While we were there, we were able to get a picture with the Easter bunny. He is looking much better this year than last year. I'll have to show a comparison photo. He looked pretty sick and scary last year. On Saturday afternoon, we broke out the egg dye and colored Easter eggs. Trevor was questioning my setting up the dye in our teeny tiny kitchen, but I didn't want it where it could spill on the carpet. So even though we were squished, the girls had a great time coloring their eggs. On Sunday, we spent the afternoon and evening with our friends, the Cutlers. We decided it would be a lot more fun and a lot less work if we combined our Easter dinners. I brought the potatoes and the dessert and Tami did the ham and rolls. We all had a great time and the kids spent most of dinner laughing and giggling. I'm so grateful to have friends that we can share the holidays with. All in all, we had a wonderful Easter and hope that all of you did as well.

Lorin Turns 6!!!

Well, Lorin is now a big 6 year old. I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday she was born. She is such a sweet girl and is constantly making us laugh. For her birthday, we had a small family party on Wednesday and then her friend party on Friday. She had a pajama party and had a great time with all of her friends. We kept plenty busy making mini pizzas, dancing, playing pass the slipper, and decorating pillow cases. It was pretty crazy with ten little girls in the house, but they all had a blast!!!

Eating cake and ice cream and playing around. As you can see, they all look happy and filled with plenty of sugar. The girls were so cute and had tonz of energy. Thank goodness the party is over until next year.

We're Pregnant!!!

Well, we're either crazy or well, just plain crazy. We decided it's time for us to join the ranks of being outnumbered by our kids. We are expecting baby #3 the first part of October. We waited to tell everyone because we wanted the girls to know first. I didn't want to tell the girls until I had heard a heartbeat, which I heard on Tuesday. The girls are really excited and Taigan is telling everyone, "My mommy has a baby in her tummy." The news will definitely be out with her announcing to everyone. My doctor's appointment went great and it was so neat to hear that little heart beat. Pregnancy is such a miracle and I am looking forward to growing big and round. I love being pregnant, but I'm ready to not be so tired!!!

1. I've been married for 8 1/2 years. Time sure does fly.
2. I have two beautiful daughters, Lorin and Taigan.
3. I am a Scorpio.
4. I love to read, and am constantly reading a book.
5. I love to sing, even though I'm not very good.
6. I love to shop at Ross, and just recently found a dress for my sister-in-laws wedding there for 20 bucks!!!
7. I hate doing dishes, but right now they are actually done.
8. I hate picking up toys, but it seems like it's all I do. Lorin does a good job helping, but Taigan always says she's too tired to help.
9. I pay all of the bills and balance the check book.
10. I have a necklace of moles around my neck!!!
11. My hands are starting to look old. My veins are starting to pop out.
12. Having blood drawn doesn't bother me.
13. I've only lived in two places, Cache Valley, Ut and Mountlake Terrace, WA.
14. I love living in Washington.
15. I like the rain, especially because it doesn't really rain all that often.
16. The bright sun in Utah now hurts my eyes, I'm too used to overcast skies.
17. I love it when Trevor rubs my feet.
18. I love to lay by the heater and read a good book.
19. I love going to the park with my girls.
20. I never thought I would love driving a mini van, but I absolutley LOVE it!!!
21. My cell phone doesn't get reception in my apartment.
22. I usually call my mom a couple of times a week.
23. I wish I lived closer to my mom, I miss her hugs.
24. Taigan is constantly pushing the rules and trying my patience.
25. I volunteer in Lorin's kindergarten class once a week.
26. I love to eat at Red Robin, their fries are so yummy, especially when dipped in the onion ring sauce.
27. I'm excited to attend my ten year high school reunion this summer.

30. I love shopping at half price books. I found one of the Harry Potter books there for only $5. It was hardback and in excellent condition.
31. I love Harry Potter. I've read all of the books multiple times. I like the movies too, but the books are soooooo much better.
32. I need new recipes because I always fix the same things for dinner.
33. I don't mind cooking, but sometimes it gets old.
34. Trevor lets me sleep in every Saturday morning. He's the best husband ever.
35. I love to sleep!!!
36. I like my primary calling in church, at least most Sundays.
37. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
38. One of my favorite movies is Pride and Prejudice. You know, the 6 hour one with Colin Firth. Trevor can't stand all of the dialogue.
39. The only problem with this Pride and Prejudice movie, is that Jane isn't pretty and she's supposed to be gorgeous.
40. I don't like to snuggle when I sleep.
41. My housekeeping skills have gone downhill since I moved to WA.
42. I really miss having a garage, I need the storage space.
43. I'm way behind in my scrapbooking.
44. I hate folding and putting away the laundry.
45. Right now, I have laundry that need to be put away.
46. I still don't hang my clothes up at night, I just toss them on the chair in my room.
47. I don't set an alarm in the morning, I just get up when the girls do.
48. Sometimes I don't get up with the girls, instead I send them to play and I sleep a little bit longer.
49. I am constantly sharing my showers with Taigan.

52. I like to play Cranium Hullabaloo with the girls.
53. We've been having FHE regularly for the last two months!!! (hooray)
54. The girls love having FHE and get really excited every Monday.
55. I really miss Cafe Rio in Logan.
56. The first thing I want to do in May when we get to Logan is to go to Cafe Rio and have a sweet pork burrito or salad.
57. I have a good recipe for sweet pork, but it's not the same if you have to cook it.
58. I love country music.
59. The last movie I saw in the theater was Alvin and chipmunks on Christmas day.
60. I don't like ironing, so Trevor irons all his shirts. In fact, I don't think he's ever asked me to iron a shirt for him.
61. Trevor is much sweeter than I am.
62. I sing two songs to the girls each night before they go to bed. I sing them rocka-rocka (a family song) and then part of dream.
63. My life is pretty much the same day in and day out.
64. I love to shop at Target.
65. I love being a mom, but some days are better than others.

67. I want to go on a cruise for my 10 year anniversary. It might have to be 11 though.

69. I wear more make-up now than I did in high school.
70. Amazingly enough, I really enjoy driving on the freeway. I hated it until I moved up here and was forced to do it.

72. I love going to the zoo, it's so pretty up here.
73. We went camping last summer as a family to Mt. Rainier. It was our first camping trip and we had a blast.

89. I avoid the mall like the plague. I always feel so out of place there.

92. I hate cleaning the shower and bathtub and both need to be cleaned right now.
93. I like to be organized, but I need more space in order to be organized.

Not a lot has been happening!!!

So, I haven't posted for a little while. Not a lot has been happening up here, except for the same old stuff. We had a beautiful day here yesterday, so we spent the afternoon at the park. The girls had a great time playing in the sunshine and getting all of their wiggles out. I also loved being out in the sunshine. At this time of year, it's important to enjoy the sunshine while it's here. It's supposed to rain all weekend and into next week!!! But, I'll take the rain over the snow and cold any day. Good luck keeping warm to all of those in Utah!!!
